Entry Process
Entry Process
Individual / Team Events – Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun/Running Target
ISSF Member Federations may enter a maximum of three (3) athletes per individual event who may
participate as one (1) team in team events.
Individual / Team Events – Target Sprint
ISSF Member Federations may enter a maximum of six (6) athletes per individual event, and a maximum
of two (2) teams consisting of three (3) same-gender athletes (which are entered for the ISSF World
Championship in an individual Senior or Junior event teams) per team event.
Mixed Team Events
ISSF Member Federations may enter a maximum of two (2) teams consisting of one (1) man and one
(1) woman per mixed team event.
Maximum Entry
The maximum number of starts per event is the number of athlete entries that can be accepted for each
ISSF World Championship event. Range capacity is determined by the available shooting time and the
number of available ranges/firing points.
If the maximum number of starts is reached during the Final Entry process, a “waiting list” for that
event(s) will be established. If cancellations are subsequently received, entries from the waiting list will
be entered on a first come, first served basis. ISSF Headquarters and the Organizing Committee will
cooperate to determine if additional entries from the waiting list can be accommodated.

Juniors

Juniors are athletes who will be under the age of 21 on 31st December 2018.

Juniors may participate in one (1) category only – either in the Juniors or in the Seniors events. If no
Juniors event is scheduled, Juniors may participate in this event in the Senior category.

ISSF ID Number

All athletes must sign an "Athlete's Declaration" and have an official ISSF ID number issued before
participation in the ISSF World Championship.

Athletes without ISSF ID number will not be allowed to participate. ISSF ID numbers can be obtained
from the ISSF Headquarters by using the official application form.
Quota Places and MQS
-
Quota Places for the 2020 Olympic Games Tokyo (JPN) will be awarded according to the Qualification
-
System that will be published and distributed as soon as approved by the IOC.
-
Results obtained during this ISSF World Championship will be recognized as MQS for the 2020 OG.
-
Athlete biographies will be distributed and photos will be taken.
